This was the final song that we came up with during the very last week of the 2009 Avalanche Recording Sessions at ROUGH CUT STUDIO in Connecticut. Mark Easton came into the studio with the basic chord and vocal idea...and after a few listens, I made a few changes to the original chords in order to give them a more up to date sound...and wrote and arranged the outro section of the song, which brings the listener back to our hard rock musical identity, which will always be a core part of our music. The harmony vocals were something I thought might work well with Mark's original vocal track as I heard Mark sing his part...and so after a few tries at it...it became obvious that they worked very well on this one. We have wanted to do more harmony vocals anyway...and we also felt that since we have three lead vocalists in Avalanche...it was overdue for us to do some songs with shared lead vocal chores. After hearing how this one came out...we're pretty sure that we'll be doing more of this kind of stuff in the future.
